Supervised on-the-job, sustainment, and skills progression training, along with formal education and providing evaluation counseling to employees.

  • Increased the radar system performance and readiness by over 15% by identifying and resolving shortfalls of over 20 spare parts through collaborating with multiple departments.
  • Determined radar system integrity in support of flight missions during Weapons and Tactics Instructor course.
  • Scheduled and executed semi-annual preventative maintenance consisted of extensive component level troubleshooting, resulting in the improvement of overall system performance by 10%.
  • Trained fellow aviation radar technicians on proper operation and maintenance procedures of the radar system in accordance with USMC approved technical manual which increased readiness.
  • Optimize maintenance schedule for rapidly changing mission requirements. Lead to productivity and reduction to repair cost.

Oracle E-Business Suite Calibrations Manager

Oversaw the Oracle E-Business Suite system while managing calibrations inventory for the entire Maintenance organization.

  • Developed an equipment tracking system which ensured 100% on-time calibration for over $250K of serialized special purpose tools. Planned, organized, and coordinated the use of all calibrated resources.
  • Decreased the probability of a month-long calibration process and an inoperable system through the creation and implementation of an inventory control process, ensuring all necessary tools were always on hand.
  • Achieved 100% readiness of the calibration process for the biennial inspection by performing weekly data collection and survey analysis with the local Maintenance Management office.
  • Saved the organization $50K by identifying and redistributing non-essential equipment.

Aviation Radar Technician

Conduct periodic inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance including diagnosing malfunctions to the fault, removing and replacing lowest repairable unit (LRU) on air defense radar systems.

  • Diagnosed system hardware faults utilizing RF test equipment, electrical schematics, and basic troubleshooting practices.
  • Documented all system defects and issues found during routine maintenance checks and operations in USMC regulated logbook.
  • Used a multitude of test measurement and diagnostic equipment to trace different power levels, voltages, and frequencies to isolate and repair damaged equipment.
